At the Portland Art Documentation digital print studio, we specialize in archival pigment printing, also known as giclée or inkjet printing. We carry a well-curated selection of archival papers, use top-of-the-line printers and inks, and are committed to producing the highest quality fine art prints for artists, photographers, galleries, and museums.

STANDARD STOCK
Our standard stock of papers are excellent papers but are typically thinner and less archival than our premium stock fine art papers. You can expect these papers to last for decades when stored or displayed in good conditions. These papers are available in matte & luster finish.
Moab Lasal Photo Matte
235 gsm
Double sided matte paper that is water-resistant, as well as pulp-, acid-, and lignin-free. An excellent choice for reproductions.
Moab Lasal Exhibition Luster
300 gsm
A true heavyweight, archival exhibition-quality luster paper. The paper is coated with the latest fourth-generation technology to produce an extra-wide color gamut never before seen in a luster paper. Pure crispy whites and deep, luscious colors. A great choice for both color & black-and-white photographic enlargements.
PREMIUM STOCK
Our premium fine art papers are produced from the highest quality archival materials by the world’s finest paper makers. Most are 100% cotton rag and provide the aesthetic and feel of fine art drawing, watercolor, and darkroom papers. These papers will last for hundred of years when stored in the appropriate conditions.
Canson Platine Fibre Rag
310 gsm | slightly textured | bright white
This studio favorite is the combination of the premium 100% cotton Platinum paper that Canson has supplied for many years to the original Platinum and Platine photographic market, with the latest microporous coating, making the traditional darkroom paper now available for your digital printing. Setting the benchmark for Digital Darkroom papers, it provides the aesthetic and feel of the original F-Type Baryta Fibre paper, having a true pure white tone without using optical brighteners that are known to affect the longevity of digitally produced images. Its extremely high Dmax and exceptional grey tones make it the product of choice for the more discerning black and white as well as color photographic prints.
Canson Arches® 88

Made of 100% cotton, it offers an ultra-smooth surface finish and a soft and supple feel to the touch. ARCHES® 88 has a pure white tone and is completely free of any optical brighteners (OBAs). The unique inkjet receiving layer produces prints with superb colour rendition, deep blacks and natural whites offering photographers, artists and printmakers the opportunity to create images with a superb tonal range, excellent highlights and mid-tones. Moab Entrada Coldpress
300 gsm | textured | warm white
With a watercolor paper texture that delivers sharp results and a rich feel, this coldpress is 100% cotton fine art paper designed for printing in both color and black and white. Acid- and lignin-free, the paper has an expanded color gamut, natural contrast, and a high ink load capacity. The paper ensures long-lasting prints when used with archival inks.
STUDIO POLICIES
Additional prints of the same image, on the same size & stock of paper, receive an automatic 15% discount.
We can produce prints up to 42 inches on the shortest dimension.

Turnaround on most proofs and print orders is 2-3 business days.
For prints 16”x20” or larger, a proof is included in the price.
